Jean-Michel Fages is an accomplished filmmaker whose multifaceted career spans technical expertise and creative storytelling, earning him multiple awards for his compelling screenplays. Beginning as an A-camera, Steadicam®, and crane operator, he built a strong foundation in the technical aspects of filmmaking, contributing to over one hundred productions worldwide in 18 years.

This global experience taught him to adapt to the unpredictability of film sets, transforming challenges into creative opportunities with resourcefulness and calm. Transitioning to directing 12 prime-time television series in France, Jean-Michel further honed his storytelling craft on sets, blending technical precision with a passion for narrative.

 

Following his move to San Francisco California, he started his screenwriting journey, marked by a dedication to crafting authentic, emotionally resonant stories. Jean-Michel’s award-winning screenplays reflect his ability to weave compelling narratives that captivate audiences, drawing from his extensive on-set experience and his life shared between France and USA.
